1. intention of the artist- The intention of the artist here is to demonstrate the way kids have changed, and how society is getting careless about what children do, and this has to change because kids are the future.
quality of the work- The quality of the work is good, it is not exactly a painting, but a picture, and the artist has got his message through.
response of the audience- I believe the artist is right, that generations nowadays are different than they used to be, and kids are doing things we never thought possible.

2. Immitation- I don't know of any immitation the artwork has.
Communication- Maybe this can communicate parents on the way they raise their children, and probably they should be more on top of what their kids do.
Education- It is education for us because we know how times are changing, and people do things we would never think possible. We can try to change the future.

Successful Human Science Experiment

Nanotech Robots Deploy Cancer..

1. Scientists from the California Institute of Technology placed RNA molecules in a specialized polymer robot with a chemical sensor. When the environment of a cancerous cell triggered the chemical sensor, the robot releases the RNA. The experiment helped to fight cancer, and to reduce tumors in patients.

2. They experimented it on three people with melanomas, who recieved the RNA-load nanoparticles intravenously four times, for about thirty minutes, for three weeks. After that time, these patients had samples taken and the results showed that the melanomas had presence of RNA, and a reduction in tumor gene expression.

3. The outcome is that scientists are coming up with a cure to tumors, and that there are ways to reduce them. What this tells us about humans, is that after a very long time after hearing about unethical science experiments, and the awful outcomes they have, we can see that not all human science experiments are bad, and some of them have a very good purpose.

1) Thailand-Many thai women believe that prostitution reduces the incidence of rape.
2) USA- Child prostitution is unethical, and sometimes the children do it by their own choice, and to our surprise, more boys sell themselves than girls.
3) Brazil- Brazil is known for having the worst sex trafficking record after Thailand. It is unethical, although some girls do it because they can't survive so they need money and prostitute themselves.

I think that Child Prostitution is an awful thing to do to children, but sometimes these children, mostly girls, have no other way to sustain themselves economically. Although this may be horrible, it really reduces starvation and other problems. I also consider it legal because a lot of the girls chose this way of life.

Purpose- To show how the people who controlled the war, like Dr. Rumsfeld here, did not experience and did not feel what it was really like to lose your life fighting for your country. The soldier has lost his arms and legs and the Dr. only says he is "battle hardened"

Value- It shows people how the United States really cares for their army, and the only thing they want is to be powerful, and people to fear their army.

Limitation- Not a primary source, and it is biased against the people who controlled the war. We don't know what war is it.

The Aversion Project

South Africa's apartheid army forced white lesbian and gay soldiers to undergo 'sex change' operations in the 1970's and 80's and submitted many to chemical castration, electric shock, and other unethical medical experiments.

This experiment was unethical because it meant sex change for males and females.

"Doubt is the key to knowledge. To what extent is this true in perception?"



1) I do believe doubt is they key to knowledge, because without doubt, we would not be inspired to learn anything new. It is totally true in perception, because the knowledge you gain is put in your perception on how you view things.
2) Cultural Example- You may have a single story about some place, let's say Irak. You can believe everything they say on the news about Irak, on how everything has been destroyed, and the war, etc, or you can doubt what these people on television say, and find out about Irak, and see the beautiful places it has to offer, or the beautiful and friendly people that live there. Therefore, what you find out thanks to your doubt, becomes your perception about the world, in this case, Irak.
3) School Example- Your teacher can tell you something you may believe differently, therefore your doubt will take you to find out something your teacher may have said wrong. You correct your teacher and help both of your perceptions.
4) Personal Life- The experts are usually right when they say the world is round, or when they tell you about the planets, etc, so based on the experts' view of things, you gain your own knowledge and perception.

Topic-How important are the opinions of experts in the search for knowledge

Opinion- We don't need to believe anything just because we have heard it, and experts are specialized in their own fields so they can't give any judgments just because they are experts.

Support 1- For years, the whole world thought Pluto was a planet, until someone discovered it was a little too small to be classified as a planet. Everyone thought Pluto was a planet, so you can see even experts can make mistakes.

This is my dog Polo, and he was given to us as a gift this Christmas. He is a very crazy dog and is special to all our family because he always makes us laugh.

These are some of my friends, and they are very important in my life because they are always there with me in good and bad times. They always make me laugh, and I give lots of thanks for such wonderful friends.
